Stanford is your dream university besides TU Wien? You always wanted to attend courses there but it seemed too exclusive and out of reach? You are masters student preferably of Civil Engineering or Spatial Planning at the TU Wien and always wanted to be part of an international team during your master thesis?

Then apply for the Austrian Real Estate Challenge!

What to expect:
• Be one of 4 selected students of TU Wien to work together with students of Stanford Mechanical Engineering
• You will be supported by the ME310 teaching team of Larry Leifer and Alex Redlein
• You will be visiting Stanford University twice for two weeks (depending on the developments of COVID-19)
• You will earn your credentials for your Master Thesis and Master Thesis Seminar during the course

Austrian real estate companies like Immofinanz, ÖSW and Simacek Group provide you with the topic for the challenge. It will be in the area of real estate and will ask for an innovative solutions and new approaches. Course fees, travel costs, etc. will also be sponsored by them!

The goal of the course is to learn the methodology of design thinking on a practical case – Experience and knowledge from the best from both worlds!

The deadline for submitting your documents is the 6th of August 2021. Interviews will be held per video conference.
The selection will take place till September 10th 2021.
