Information on studying abroad
The International Office offers you an overview of the various international education programmes and scholarships abroad that are offered at the TU Vienna.
Students can spend one or two semesters abroad at a European university. For this purpose, there are university places available through the Erasmus programme, which are allocated by the faculty.
In addition to the completion of courses, studying abroad can also be used to write the master's thesis. Some institutes of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering offer this opportunity in cooperation with foreign universities. Grants for the stay abroad are possible with Erasmus or other scholarships.
For Diploma/PhD students there is also the opportunity to take advantage of a “grant for diploma and PhD theses and specialist courses abroad”. However, this only applies in direct connection with the diploma thesis or dissertation.
Another option for stays abroad are internships abroad or ERASMUS traineeships.
